Why is there so much dr who on bbc entertainment? almost every weekday evening the only offering seems to be dr who. If there s not more variety I don't plan to extend my subscription coming Feburary
BBC
Dear Kris,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in Asia.
Doctor Who is a hugely popular series which is enjoyed by very many of our viewers in Asia, although we do of course appreciate that not everybody is a fan of this series. We do hope there are other programmes you will enjoy on BBC Entertainment in Asia in the coming months, including the following which are on the channel in November: Come Fly With Me, Criminal Justice, Dancing With The Stars, The Fixer, Survivors, The Real Hustle and The Weakest Link.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to send us your feedback which we very much appreciate.
Best wishes,

Hi, I am looking for a copy of your document program - "evaporation of Midterrarean sea", in DVD or mp4 format. Would you tell me where I can purchase a copy.
BBC
Dear Ching,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in Asia.
Whilst not all of the programmes which you see on our channels are commercially accessible, you may like to check DVD availability with the BBC Shop – www.bbcshop.com – or an alternative online or local retailer. In addition, for many shows, the programme-makers release related merchandise which you may find of interest.

Why are we getting repeats upon repeats of come dine with me? We were recently in the UK and there were hundreds of episodes that we have never seen in Singapore.......please give us more up to date material on this great show and stop broadcasting repeats of the original series.
BBC
Dear Simon,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in Asia.
As with all cable and satellite channels, repeats are a feature of most schedules and this is welcomed by those viewers who don't watch the same channel every day and, due to the multi-channel environment, often miss complete series. We will note your request for more recent episodes of Come Dine With Me, however due to rights and availability issues, there will always be a delay between original transmission and when we are able to bring programmes to our international viewers, but we do try to minimise this wherever possible.
We do hope you are enjoying programmes on our channels, including The Graham Norton Show series 12 which is currently premiering on BBC Entertainment in Asia 2 weeks after its broadcast in the UK.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to send us your feedback.

BBC a renowned and oldest news forum running in all over the world.BBC has attempted courageous step to opens various sources of channels but its must be opening a new English Literary Channel as English literature is a vast history itself since the Anglo Saxon there were numerous great poets and their unique works have left brilliant poetry e.g Romantic and Classical Poetry,Prose and finally Novels. As student of literature i fulfill my grasp of knowledge about poets and their works so if BBC should open Poetry Channel so it will be great.
BBC
Dear Adeel,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in Asia and for your suggestion. We do hope you will enjoy some of the fantastic programmes on our channels in Asia in the coming months including Waking the Dead, Doctor Who and Ashes to Ashes.

Why is your scheduling so repetitive on BBC Entertainment? It seems that you only have 3 programmes- Dr Who, Torchwood and Primevil. Is this really all that the great BBC has to offer in terms of 'entertainment'? It would be great to see more worthy programmes on this channel, preferably programmes that are less than 3 years old.
BBC
Dear Donna,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in Asia.
During the month of October on BBC Entertainment in Asia, we had a “Out of This World” stunt featuring back-to-back series of Primeval, Doctor Who and Torchwood. These series are hugely popular but of course it would be impossible to please all of our viewers all of the time with the programmes we show and when we schedule them. We do hope that you will enjoy some of the programmes we have on BBC Entertainment in Asia in the coming months, including the premiere of The Graham Norton Show series 12 which is being shown shortly after its UK broadcast.
Thank you for contacting us with your feedback.

why does this excellent programme have so much self advertising- every 10 minutes you are advertising stuff that has largely already been put out?? Very confusing, and totally unnecessary
BBC
Dear David,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in Asia.
You have not mentioned the particular programme during which you felt too many trailers were broadcast, however we would assure you that very careful consideration is given to the placement of programme trailers. Our aim is to bring you the best programmes possible and we don’t want viewers to miss future programming that may be of interest to them. However, we do note that you feel programme trailers are shown too often on our channels in Asia and your feedback is much appreciated.
Thank you for contacting us.

Can you tell me the what the music is being played on the Planet Earth Advertisment currently running on BBC Knowledge?
BBC
Dear Ray,
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in Asia.
The music used in this trailer is production music rather than a commercial track and is not commercially available, however we can tell you it’s called “Sky High” by Huw Jones and Sam Brown.
Thank you for contacting us.

DISGRUNTLED
I subscribe to BBC Entertainment in Hong Kong because I miss the quality dramas, comedies and documentaries that the BBC is well-known for. I'm disappointed to say that BBC Entertainment is absolute rubbish. It's 24/7 Doctor Who- possibly the one programme from the BBC that I cannot abide. It wouldn't be so bad if it were on once per week, but it's on constantly. All you do is repeat things over and over ad infinitum. Episodes of the Weakest Link from last century are constantly aired on this channel, too. The only programme that seems to be vaguely recent is Graham Norton, and even that is several months out of date by the time it airs here.
The dramas that are shown, such as Criminal Justice, are great! But then they're repeated over and ove. It's as though you only have 5 programmes you show on constant repeat. This is fine if your customers only subscribe for 6 months or less, but surely you want longer time customers.
After several years of being driven crazy by your incessant repeats, I will cancel my subscription to your channel and watch Youtube instead. At least there's more variety available.
BBC
Thank you for your message to BBC Worldwide Channels in Asia.
We are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed with BBC Entertainment in Asia and in particular that you feel programmes are repeated too frequently. As with all cable and satellite channels, repeats are a feature of most schedules and this is welcomed by those viewers who don't watch the same channel every day and, due to the multi-channel environment, often miss complete series.
Regarding the age of programmes, due to rights and availability issues, there will always be a delay between original transmission and when we are able to bring programmes to our international viewers, but we do try to minimise this wherever possible. You mention in your message The Graham Norton Show and series 12 is currently premiering on BBC Entertainment in Asia approximately 2 weeks after its broadcast in the UK.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to send us your feedback which we very much appreciate and we do very much hope that you don’t decide to cancel your subscription with us.
Best wishes,
